About us

Casalmonte is formed by a profesional team of 3 people, all 3 have the Dutch nationality. Thijs Andela and Greta Schoonebeek founded Casalmonte in 2005. Renate Rozeboom joined them in 2007. We've each lived and worked in the Spanish (pre) Pyerenees for several years and therefore can honestly say that we know the property market, the region and how things are done in this part of Spain.

Greta Schoonebeek is a certified real estate agent (API) and responsible for all estimations (to determine the market value of a property) and all the paperwork concerning the buying and selling process. She is also responsible for the properties in the province of Lérida.

Renate Rozeboom is our agent in the province of Huesca.

Thijs Andela is responsible for the website and the marketing.

Procedure

The way we work is very simple: if there is any house of special interest to you, or if you have any question related to the region, please contact us. We welcome this contact and will advise you on next steps. At this stage there are obviously no costs involved.
If you find your dreamhouse through Casalmonte, we will guide you in a profesional way through the whole buying process. Of course you can also count on us after you have purchased your property.
It is also possible that we do the house hunting for you. After an extensive briefing of your wishes and demands, we can search in newspapers, our local network, the internet, other agencies, etc.

Other services
You can also contact us for other activities. For example for determining the value of your property in case you want to sell, or you want to buy a house and need an independent opinion on the prize. We can also help you with the paperwork belonging to selling or buying a house, finding a good builder, a solar system supplier or whatever you need.

As a 'Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria' (API), we are certified to carry out appraisals to determine the market value of a house. And, because of our extensive experience in selling homes in this area, we are very well aware of prices and developments on the market.

You can reach us the whole day including weekends; we do not close between 2pm and 5pm (as is common in Spain).
