The village and its amazing location

The village with a medieval character is built against a prominent crag. The crags in this natural area are an important part of this interesting landscape: the high valley of Serradell-Terreta-Serra de Sant Gervàs Protected Natural Area.
One of the most popular activities is the observation of vultures, of which there are a great many in the area. The region also attracts a lot of mountain bikers, hikers and climbers. Another feature is the Romanesque hermitages that can be found here.

The beautiful natural and diverse environment

A house in the Pallars Jussà region is the perfect way to enjoy all that life in Spain has to offer. The nearby lake of Sant Antoni is fantastic for swimming, canoeing, water-skiing or relaxing on a terrace by the water to enjoy the surroundings and the sun. For an active day, there are plenty of possibilities to make excursions, go hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding and climbing. But also be surprised by the hospitality of the locals and discover the local gastronomy.

There is a lot to do in the area, but on a hot summer day, there is nothing better than finding the water. You can do that in the Flamisell river. This river is very suitable for fishing, taking a refreshing dive, jumping off rocks and relaxing.

The nearby beautiful Vall Fosca, with its over 30 natural lakes scattered over the northern part of the valley. The cable car at the end of the valley is the ideal way to get up to altitude quickly, because within fifteen minutes the cable car will take you to an altitude of over 2150 metres. From the high station there are numerous possibilities for walking. It is also an entrance to the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici national park. In winter this place is very popular for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing.

A walk across the nearby markt town of La Pobla de Segur takes you through medieval streets, past authentic shops, a beer factory where you can taste the home-brewed beers and cosy squares with terraces. During the weekly market, you can enjoy the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables and all kinds of local specialities.

The Sant Antoni reservoir offers plenty of opportunities for swimming and other water sports. But also to relax with a snack and a drink on a terrace on the waterfront.
