A large gate leads to the veranda with access to the house, garage and garden.

The house is completely detached and has total privacy. Experience the outdoor lifestyle on the covered veranda, by the above-ground pool or in the garden.

Right by the house and garage, is an inviting terrace with fantastic wide views.

The cosy Mediterranean-style garden further comprises a nice terrace under olive and almond trees, an outdoor shower and several fruit trees such as a fig, medlar and grape vine.

The spacious covered terrace invites you to linger, relax and enjoy the landscape. The porch faces east so you can enjoy the sun in the morning but have plenty of shade later in the day when it gets warmer.

The veranda features a custom-made outdoor kitchen with ample cupboards and work space. There is also a lovely lounge sofa that can easily be turned into a dining table with two benches.

Through the front door, you enter the open-plan kitchen/living room with the bathroom next to it.
The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and in excellent condition.
During colder evenings it is cosy to sit by the wood-burning stove in the living room.

The two bedrooms in the house are one floor below the living room.

The third bedroom is located above the garage and is a very spacious room with great views over the valley.

La Ribagorza

La Era de Romá is located in a village in the Ribagorza region. La Ribagorza is still an authentic region with overwhelming nature, an abundance of hiking routes for both the casual and the serious walkers and a variety of outdoor activities (summer and winter), rich in culture and historical heritage, lots of nice historic towns and villages, and water always plays an important role in the landscape. All of this in a lovely climate without mass tourism.

The spectacular gorge of Mont Rebei, at half an hour’s drive from the house. The gorge is carved by the river Noguera Ribagorzana and crosses the Montsec mountain range. The gorge can be enjoyed on foot following the ancient mule track carved into the rock. On the other side of the gorge are 2 spectacular wooden stairs that cross the rock vertically. Exploring the gorge by canoe is also an unforgettable experience.

Throughout the year, there are wonderful routes to follow on foot, by bike, by motorbike and in the car, leading you past historical heritage, through vineyards and through beautiful and varied nature. Enjoy Spanish life, culture and gastronomy at the terraces, markets and local restaurants in the beautiful historical villages in the area. For the more adventurous, there are plenty of opportunities for skiing, whitewater sports or challenging hikes.

The stunning and varied nature of the region, with the high peaks of the Pyrenees in the north and a more rolling landscape in the south and spectacular flora and fauna. After a day out there is the pleasure of enjoying local specialties. This region is especially known for the cultivation of the black winter truffle (tuber melanosporum).
