An electric gate and a beautiful driveway with cypress trees on both sides lead to the house. The house stands in the middle of the plot and is surrounded by very well-maintained terraces and a garden.

The house is spread over two levels. On the lower-ground level, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a storage room. One bedroom and the storage room have a separate side entrance. The luxury of space

A plot of 17.544 sqm means peace, privacy, freedom and space. Surrounding the house is 8.000 sqm of land laid out as a driveway, garden, terrace and orchard. Here children and animals can play and roam freely and enjoy outdoor life in total privacy. This part of the plot is equipped with a fully automatic irrigation system. The other part of 9.500 sqm is used as farmland, where alfalfa (lucerne) is grown.

The orchard consists mainly of almond and walnut trees.

Between the house and the orchard is a shed for storing garden tools. All tools for the garden are included in the price.

Benabarre, cultural capital of the La Ribagorza region

Benabarre is a lively village with basic amenities, a medical centre, a primary school, several good restaurants and cosy terraces and a weekly market. The imposing castle rising above the village and the small partly covered streets are examples of the rich history of the village and its surroundings.
Benabarre is also known for its handmade chocolate and various types of cheeses.
Major tourist attractions are, on the one hand, its proximity to the Pyrenees and thus to ski slopes and mountain tourism in general, and on the other, Benabarre is one of the main access points to Aragón’s Montsec Nature Reserve. An area with endless recreational opportunities such as hiking, horse riding and mountain biking.

Condes de Ribagorza castle is well worth a visit. From the top you can overlook the whole area and, of course the castle is visible from almost the whole area. Various cultural activities and concerts are organised throughout the year.
From La Era you can enjoy the impressive view of the beautifully lit castle above the village in the evening.

The spectacular gorge of Mont Rebei is carved by the river Noguera Ribagorzana and crosses the Montsec mountain range. The gorge can be enjoyed on foot following the ancient mule track carved into the rock. On the other side of the gorge are 2 spectacular wooden stairs that cross the rock vertically. Exploring the gorge by canoe is also an unforgettable experience.

Everywhere in the landscape you can see historic vestiges like chapels, Roman bridges, defence towers and monasteries. The rich historical heritage is also reflected in the many authentic villages.

The nearby beautiful lake Barasona is perfect for swimming, canoeing, water skiing, or to relax on a terrace at the waterfront.

The stunning and varied nature of the region, with the high peaks of the Pyrenees in the north and a more rolling landscape in the south and spectacular flora and fauna. After a day out there is the pleasure of enjoying local specialties. This region is especially known for the cultivation of the black winter truffle (tuber melanosporum).
