The house has an entrance on 2 levels. On the lower floor is the main entrance. This consists of a large original door giving access to a spacious hall. The other entrance, also still with the original door, is on the middle floor.

The garden

The landscaped garden consists of a couple of levels whereby both the lowest and the middle floor have access to the garden. The garden consists of several terraces so there is always a choice between sun or shade.

The house is being sold furnished and there has been paid much attention to the furnishing and decoration. For example, from old building materials found in the house furniture has been made, such as the coffee table.

The wood stove is highly effective and heats this space with ease.

On the middle floor are also 2 of the 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms are very spacious, have a private bathroom and a lovely rustic atmosphere.

On the top floor, under the beautifully restored roof with old oak beams are 2 large bedrooms. These two rooms have except a bathroom also a half open additional room that can be used as an extra bedroom, sitting room, etc.

The ground floor consists of a dining room, a simple but very well equipped kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a storage space. From this floor there is also direct access to the garden.

What does the region have to offer?

Casa Miguel is in a village in the Ribagorza region. La Ribagorza is still an authentic region with overwhelming nature, an abundance of hiking routes for both the casual and the serious walkers and a variety of outdoor activities (summer and winter), rich in culture and historical heritage, lots of nice historic towns and villages, and water always plays an important role in the landscape. All of this under the delight of over 300 days of sunshine every year. 

Everywhere in the landscape you can see historic vestiges like chapels, Roman bridges, defence towers and monasteries. The rich historical heritage is also reflected in the many authentic villages.

The area is a paradise for motorcyclists, cyclists and hikers, there are routes and paths for everyone’s wishes!

 At 1 hour’s drive is the vast ski resort of Cerler. The many ski slopes, from the simple green to the impressive black slope, offer extensive opportunities for skiers of all levels.
